Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of CashCam: Sell Your Stuff. They are developer-authored product terms and are not presented as attorney-certified legal advice. By using CashCam, you agree to these Terms.

CashCam’s role

CashCam provides AI-assisted item discovery, second-hand value estimates, clarification, listing preparation, selling organization, marketplace handoff, and Sales Assistant guidance. Estimates are informational only. CashCam does not guarantee a price, buyer, sale, listing approval, marketplace availability, or transaction outcome.

Your review and responsibility

You must review and approve listing content and marketplace actions. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, ownership, authenticity, safety, condition, functionality, price, delivery, returns, taxes, and fulfillment of items you sell. Do not rely on image analysis as proof that an item works, is complete, or is a particular brand or model.

Marketplace services

eBay and Facebook are independent third-party services with their own accounts, eligibility requirements, fees, rules, prohibited-item policies, and terms. CashCam’s official eBay integration requires your consent and explicit publish confirmation. Facebook Marketplace is an assisted preparation flow; you complete the final post. CashCam is not responsible for a marketplace’s decisions, outages, buyer conduct, payment disputes, or account restrictions.

Purchases and subscriptions

Unlock 1 Space and Cleanout Pack are consumable in-app purchases. A space is consumed only when a successful, useful full scan analysis is delivered under CashCam’s rules. CashCam Pro is a monthly auto-renewing subscription with the scan allowance described in the app. Prices are the localized amounts shown by Apple. Subscription renewal, cancellation, billing, and eligible refunds are handled through Apple and subject to Apple’s terms. Cancel before renewal through your Apple subscription settings if you do not want the next period.

Acceptable use

Use CashCam only for lawful selling activity involving items you own or are authorized to sell. Do not attempt to bypass entitlements, ownership checks, rate limits, marketplace controls, or safety protections; reverse engineer protected services; upload malicious content; impersonate others; or use Sales Assistant as a general-purpose or abusive service.

Prohibited or restricted items

Do not use CashCam to sell unlawful, stolen, counterfeit, recalled, dangerous, regulated, or marketplace-prohibited goods. Examples may include weapons, controlled substances, personal documents, unsafe products, and items that infringe intellectual-property rights. Marketplace rules and local law control even if CashCam detects an item.

AI limitations

AI can miss items, count incorrectly, misidentify an object, select imperfect evidence, or produce inaccurate condition, value, category, or text. Additional angles, close-ups, and confirmed answers can improve results but cannot eliminate uncertainty. Always correct unsupported or inaccurate content before listing.

Availability and changes

CashCam may change, pause, limit, or discontinue parts of the service for maintenance, security, provider availability, legal compliance, or product updates. Internet access and compatible Apple, marketplace, and seller accounts may be required for certain functions.

Termination

You may stop using CashCam and delete your account at any time. CashCam may suspend or terminate access for material violations, fraud, abuse, security risk, or legal requirements. Obligations that by nature should survive termination—including purchase integrity, ownership responsibility, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue to apply.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CashCam is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, selling outcome, or uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, CashCam’s developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, marketplace disputes, or transactions between users and buyers. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

Updates to these Terms

CashCam may update these Terms. Continued use after updated Terms become effective means you accept them, where permitted by law.
